Our work · Culture
The culture raised us. Now we raise it.
Hip hop has always told the truth about hard places. Through music, film and media we are pushing it to tell a truer story about who young people can become.

Why it matters
Young people live the stories they hear.
We love this culture. It is ours. But a lot of what gets rewarded tells young people that violence is identity, that prison is a rite of passage and that a short life is a glorious one.
Changing culture is slower than changing a law. It also lasts longer.
